REFUND Policy

At Semicon Academy (“the Academy”), we strive to provide the highest quality education and services to our students. We understand that circumstances may arise that require students to withdraw from a course or program. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds will be provided and is designed to protect the Academy's interests while ensuring fairness to our students.

1. General Refund Eligibility

Refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances:

- The request for a refund is made within the specified refund period.

- The student has paid the full amount of the course or program fees.

- The refund request complies with the conditions outlined in this policy.

2. Refund Periods and Conditions

2.1 Full Refunds

A full refund of course or program fees will be granted if:

- The student withdraws from the course or program within 1 day of the course start date.

- The Academy cancels the course or program before it begins due to unforeseen circumstances.

2.2 Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be granted under the following conditions:

- The student withdraws from the course or program after the start date but within 30 days of the course start date. In this case, 50% of the course or program fees will be refunded.

- The student experiences a significant personal hardship (e.g., serious illness, family emergency) that prevents them from continuing with the course. Documentation may be required.

2.3 No Refunds

No refunds will be granted if:

- The student withdraws from the course or program after 30 days from the course start date.

- The student fails to attend the course or program without formally withdrawing.

- The student is dismissed from the Academy for violating the Academy’s Code of Conduct or other policies.

- The student’s withdrawal is due to personal dissatisfaction with the course content, teaching style, or pace.

3. Non-Refundable Fees

The following fees are non-refundable under any circumstances:

- Application fees

- Registration fees

- Administrative fees

- Materials or textbook fees once they have been distributed to the student

- Any other fees specified as non-refundable in the course or program description

4. Refund Request Process

4.1 Submission of Request

To request a refund, students must:

- Submit a written request to Connect@SemiconAcademy.com or through the designated form on our website.

- Include the student’s name, course or program name, date of enrollment, and reason for the refund request.

4.2 Processing Time

- Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 90 business days of receipt.

- If approved, the refund will be issued via the original payment method. Please allow an additional 30 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

5. Special Circumstances

5.1 Course Cancellations

If the Academy cancels a course or program before it begins, students will receive a full refund of all fees paid. Students will be notified as soon as possible if a course or program is canceled.

5.2 Deferrals and Transfers

- Students may request to defer their enrollment to a future course or transfer to a different course offered by the Academy. Such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to an administrative fee.

- If a deferral or transfer is approved, no refund will be provided, and the course fees will be applied to the new course.

6. Disputes and Appeals

If a student disagrees with the decision regarding a refund request, they may submit an appeal in writing to the Academy’s Director of Admissions within 30 days of the decision. The decision on the appeal will be final.

7. Changes to This Policy

The Academy reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Academy’s website. It is the student’s responsibility to review this policy periodically. Continued enrollment in the Academy after any changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
